Designed by Shane O'Toole and Michael Kelly, the Ark is Europe's first children's cultural centre. It contains a gallery, workshops and a 150 seat theatre. The stage door, designed by Santiago Calatrave, at the rear of the Ark opens onto to Meeting House Square creating an outdoor theatre.
