The concept of urban dentistry is perhaps
best illustrated by O'Donnell and Tuomey's design of
the Irish Film Centre, which was, at one time, a Quakers'
Meeting House. The building contains two art house cinemas,
a bar / restaurant and a bookshop. These are clustered
around the double height glazed atrium in the centre.
Alongside the main entrance corridor are the building
services and the main bar.
