The 10-storey block has a double height
arcade frontage to Mayor Square housing restaurant and
bar with mezzanine uses. The upper eight floors comprise
49 apartments, and the outer brickwork frame gives the
terraces serving these apartments a greater sense of
privacy while taking advantage of the views to the mountains
in the south. Each apartment receives southern sunlight.
Each block is unified in elevation by a
dramatic overhanging steel roof, providing shelter at
penthouse level and reinforcing the new urban edge of
Mayor Street. The entrance is on Mayor Square with each
block overlooking a common landscaped courtyard area.
